YU Yutopia India launch delayed to December 17: Specifications, features

Micromax-backed YU yesterday announced that it would be launching the Yutopia on December 7. But CEO Rahul Sharma has taken to Twitter to reveal a delay in the launch, which will now take place on December 17.
Sharma says that the company is planning ‘something special with Yutopia’, which is the reason for the delay. Unsurprisingly, Sharma or YU didn’t give out any indications about what this ‘something special’ will be.
BGR India had exclusively revealed YU’s plans to launch the Yutopia in September. Since then the company has been teasing different features and aspects of the forthcoming smartphone. The Yutopia is also set to become the first handset in YU’s portfolio to break the Rs 10,000 price barrier.
YU Yutopia specifications and features: A mixture of leaks and teasers has given us a fair idea of what to expect from the Yutopia. It is likely to feature a 5.2-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, and microSD card slot.

The forthcoming smartphone is also expected to feature a 21-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel selfie camera, connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and on the software front, run on Cyanogen 12 OS based Android 5.1 Lollipop.
