Lenovo P70 launched in India for Rs 15,999, features HD display, 4,000mAh battery, LTE support
Lenovo today launched the P70, a mid-range smartphone with a
massive 4,000mAh battery. The LTE-capable smartphone is priced at Rs
15,999, and will start shipping from April 14 in India.As
mentioned above, the talkling point of the Lenovo P70 is the mammoth
4,000mAh battery. The company claims it is good enough for 18 hours of
talktime and up to 696 hours on standby mode. Furthermore, it also comes
with LTE support.
The P70 comes with a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display, and is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. On the storage front, the smartphone offers 32GB of onboard storage, along with microSD card slot that is capable of accommodating another 32GB.
It features a 13-megapixel autofocus primary snapper along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera, connectivity options like LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and micro-USB. On the software front, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.
Lenovo has been pitching its products aggressively and is trying to gain a good foothold in the budget Android segment with phones like the Lenovo A6000 and the recently launched Lenovo A7000, which features Dolby Atmos technology.
