The irritant issue of trolls on Twitter has been an impending issue. One tweet against a political big-wig or a celebrity, and fanboys raid your notifications with abuses, slur, threats and potshots. In a bid to tackle this issue more effectively, Twitter has just announced a slew of upgrades to its blocking feature and have also enhanced their report abuse policy.
Twitter has improved its blocking feature by showing you the entire list of blocked people through your settings menu. You can even edit the block list directly from there, evading the need to rely on third-party apps to keep a track of this. The blocking feature completely obstructs the user from finding you on Twitter and seeing your profile.

They have also changed the way you report abusive tweets.  The process has been simplified and now flagging tweets has been made extremely easy. See the video below to understand how it works.
These updates have been rolled to only a few users (not revealing whom), and in the coming weeks, the updates will be rolled out to everyone across the globe. Twitter also hints on additional user controls, further improvements to reporting and new enforcement procedures for abusive accounts in the future.
