Forge, the map editor for Halo 5 will be available on Windows 10 PCs on September 8. Developer 343 Industries has revealed what kind of a PC you'd need to make the most of it.

The studio claims that a PC falling in the recommended requirements should be able to run Forge at a resolution of 1080p with a frame rate of 60 while a PC that fits the ultra requirements should be able to hit 4K resolution at 60fps. There's no mention of what graphical fidelity you can expect with a PC sporting any of these specifications.

With Recore hitting Windows 10 as well as the Xbox One on September 13, and Halo 5: Forge on September 8, we should have concrete idea of what to expect from Microsoft's latest attempt at catering to PC gamers. Hopefully it's an improvement over its past efforts.
